• The residence looks like "Carrin," though the ending is compressed; retained as [Carrin] pending comparison with other records.
• Ann's occupation, "Shoemaker's wife," matches William Callister being recorded as a shoemaker at their 1850 marriage.
• Ann's birthplace is explicitly Arbory; both boys are listed as born in Andreas.

There is an intriguing discrepancy here: the younger child is recorded as Edward Quayle, aged five, whereas the known daughter Catharine Ann Quayle, baptised in November 1845, would also have been about five — and William Edward Quayle (baptised 1842) should be around eight or nine but does not appear at all. The census clearly describes this person as a son and places the age in the male column, so it would be unsafe to substitute Catharine's identity without supporting evidence: the enumerator may have made an error, or this may be a different child not otherwise documented in this collection.
